Elementary Level Activity--Aneka Voth & LaDonna Voth
Join us in a directed drawing to celebrate Youth Art Month! KAEA
has a very special friend, Vincent Yam Gogh. If you were
Vincent Yam Gogh, what would you be doing? Where would you be?
Together we will explore these ideas and create a special
"Fake Believe" scene. For this activity, you will need paper,
drawing supplies, and your wonderful imagination!
This activity will be a combination of recorded and live presentations.
Middle Level Activity--Alyssa Passmore
Single line drawings inspired by Kansas artist,
Elizabeth “Grandma” Layton. We will complete blind contour
drawings and then do some single line drawing challenges!
You will need a drawing utensil (pencil, pen, marker) and some paper.
This activity will be a pre-recorded presentation.
Secondary/High School Activity--Lynn Felts
Participants will choose a single object to illustrate in the medium of their choice. The host will demonstrate and the participants will work on their own. Participants can ask questions and show their work for advice.
This activity will be a live presentation.
Thank you for your participation in the Youth Art Month Activities and the celebration of our very talented young Kansas artists!
